Kristin Kreuk (pronounced /ˈkruːk/) was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her father, Peter Kreuk, is of Dutch descent; her mother, Deanna Che, is of Chinese descent, but was born in Indonesia; her maternal grandmother was born in Jamaica of Chinese descent. Both parents are landscape architects. She has a sister who is about five years younger. Kreuk trained in gymnastics at the national level until high school but quit in grade 11 due to scoliosis. She attended Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver.

It seems that Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li really is going to focus entirely on the title character portrayed by Kristin Kreuk when it hits screens in early 2009. On the film’s official site, producer Patrick Aiello answers a reader’s question on whether or not the two will be appearing in the upcoming film.

Recently, Ellison took over a contract with lingerie giant Ultimo for its “Young Attitude” line from fellow model Jordan barely two months after she had been signed on. Jennifer, who donned a silver catsuit-clad angel for the Liverpool Nativity, joins an all-star line up to once again celebrate the festive season.

The 25-year-old plays the title role in Cinderella and can’t wait to slip into her glittering gown.

British actress Claire Goose is to join ITV1’s award-winning drama The Bill as Sergeant Rachel Weston. Best-known for her long running role as Tina Seabrook in Casualty and more recently as Amelia Silver in Waking the Dead, Claire will don her uniform for episodes airing from July 2008.
