The former Eastenders star told This Morning yesterday that her dad was jealous that Martine McCutcheon was devoted to baby Martine and used the threat to blackmail Jenny to have sex with him: “He knew that I had become the thing she loved the most. In a way I was a saviour but in another way he’d found her weakness.
“My first memory of my dad is him hanging me over a balcony. I remember just hearing the voices and feeling scared.
Martine McCutcheon was both physically and sexually abused for years and lived in constant fear for her life. Jenny recalls Martine’s father dangling his own daughter off a balcony 30 feet up.

However, the worst was yet to come. After leaving her violent and abusive husband, Martine McCutcheon was tracked down by the monster. A knife was held to her throat, she was knocked unconscious and raped, multiple times. Jenny finally managed to escape his grasp.
On her mum, Martine McCutcheon said: “It was so tough for my Mum but I can I always remember her saying to me ‘Martine, you either choose to be the victim or the victor in life, but I promise you, you will be happier if you are the victor’.” Read the rest of this entry »
