She was educated at the prestigious Wellington College as a 6th form member of the Apsley Girls’ House for two years. Whilst studying for a history degree at the University of Edinburgh she took part in the Hollyoaks “On the Pull” auditions, and subsequently beat 10,000 other hopefuls for a part in the show. She was cast as the character Izzy Cornwell an upper class, attractive blonde who studied at the local college.

After leaving Hollyoaks in 2004 to pursue work in film, she was cast in several new roles.
