Carla Gugino and Goran Visnjic have been cast in “New York, I Love You,” an anthology of Gotham-set short films by different helmers. Andrei Zvyagintsev will helm Gugino and Visnjic’s segment. Gugino was last seen in “American Gangster,” and she’ll next star alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in “Righteous Kill.” Visnjic’s credits include “ER” and the upcoming “Helen,” opposite Ashley Judd.

In February 2006, Ashley Judd entered a program at Shades of Hope Treatment Center in Buffalo Gap, Texas and stayed for 47 days. She was there because of personal issues, including depression and isolation.
Ashley Judd is active in humanitarian and political causes. She was appointed Global Ambassador for YouthAIDS, an education and prevention program of the international NGO Population Services International (PSI) promoting AIDS prevention and treatment, and speaks and demonstrates at pro-choice events. On October 29, 2006, Judd appeared at a “Women for Ford” event for Democratic Tennessee Senate candidate Harold Ford Jr.
