Sophia Bush
Even celebrities aren’t immune to the sometimes-irregular schedules of airlines. And last night (August 12), Sophia Bush fell victim to a pretty major delay.
Landing two hours late, the “One Tree Hill” hottie looked a bit annoyed as she waited for over a half hour for her luggage to show up at the baggage claim.
She continued, “They’re so competitive. You just hope they’ll learn to love themselves for what they are. Embrace yourself. I’d like to see press outlets doing stories on women of all types. We all have different goals, passions and dreams and you need examples.”
The 26-year-old One Tree Hill star will be starring in an upcoming film called The Narrows. The film is based on Tim McLoughlin’s novel “Heart of the Old Country”, which sees Mike Manadoro (Kevin Zegers), a 19 year old Brooklyn boy who is torn between two worlds of his new college life and his tight knit Italian neighborhood roots.
Sophia plays Kathy Popovich, a beautiful, cool, intellectual young woman who meets Mike at NYU, but he already has responsibility to his long term, girlfriend Gina (Monica Keena) from the neighborhood he’s promised to marry.
Sophia Bush, an only child, was born and raised in Pasadena, California to Charles William Bush, an advertising and celebrity photographer, and Maureen, a photography studio manager.[2] Bush has French-Canadian and Italian ancestry,[3] and attended Westridge School for Girls (Pasadena), as well as the University of Southern California. She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority,[4] where she served as Social Chair.
In 2000, she was the Tournament of Roses Parade Queen. Bush attended USC for three years before landing the role of Brooke Davis on One Tree Hill (2003).
