Aged four, Patsy Kensit appeared in a television advert for Birds Eye frozen peas. In 1972, she had her first role in the film For the Love of Ada. Her next film role was two years later in The Great Gatsby starring with Mia Farrow—whom she would later portray in the 1995 biopic Love and Betrayal: The Mia Farrow Story.
A pupil at the Italia Conti Academy stage school, Kensit’s first starring roles were in British children’s television programmes such as The Adventures of Pollyanna (1982) and Luna. She also appeared as Estella in a BBC adaptation of Great Expectations in 1981.

Patsy Kensit has got back together with former fiance Jeremy Healy, just weeks after the couple ended their engagement.
Holby City star Patsy’s spokesperson confirmed the reunion yesterday after the pair were photographed with their arms around each other while attending a charity event at Claridge’s on Friday.
The couple had also been spotted dining at Nobu in London on Thursday night, with an onlooker telling the Mirror: “They stared into each other’s eyes like lovestruck teenagers and laughed all night. They seemed very much in love.”
The pair first met in the 1980s when they were both minor pop stars and remained friends during Patsy’s three previous marriages. They got engaged last November after a brief romance but announced their separation in March even though wedding plans were already underway.
