Over the following years Maggie, under Maggie Grace’s stage name Maggie Grace, had guest appearances on several television shows, including CSI: Miami, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Oliver Beene, and portrayed Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder In Greenwich.
In 2003, Maggie Grace played the Goth-influenced, estranged daughter of Tom Selleck and Wendy Crewson in the drama 12 Mile Road.
According to the Tarantino Archives, funnyman Mike Myers (Austin Powers) has signed up for a “small” role in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards. He’ll join what’s shaping up to be the oddest cast of the decade: Brad Pitt, Simon Pegg, Eli Roth, BJ Novak, David Krumholtz and Nastassja Kinski. Bizarre … but lets see where he goes with it.
Martin Freeman, who you should recognize from the ever-awesome Hot Fuzz, has picked up a starring role opposite Ashley Jensen in Nativity. The Debbie Isitt film focuses on “two rival English schools vying to outdo each other in the annual Christmas play.” It sounds like it could be fun, although I’m sure it could be helped or hurt by the likes of Hamlet 2. Unfortunately we have a while to wait and see. IMDb has it tentatively set for a 2010 release.
It was in 2004 that Grace landed her big break when she won the role of the affluent, lazy and self-centered Shannon Rutherford on J. J. Abrams’ television pilot Lost.
When Lost was picked up for a full season by ABC Grace relocated to Oahu, Hawaii where the show is filmed.
During the hiatus between the first and second seasons of Lost, Grace starred in the remake of the John Carpenter horror film, The Fog, alongside Tom Welling and Selma Blair. The film was nearly universally-panned[4] upon its release that fall. She returned to Oahu for Lost’s second season, where she filmed the first six episodes, before moving back to Los Angeles.
