Frost loved music from an early age. Her earliest concert experience was when her father took her to a Level 42 concert at the age of nine. Sports and dancing were Frost’s favourite activities, however modelling was her dream. After high school she started to work for the BBC Television doing the Holiday programme and traveling around the world.
After the split of Atomic Kitten, Frost has embarked on a solo career and released her first single “Crash Landing” on 10 October 2005, which failed to reach the Top 40. Frost originally recorded the song for the band Route 1, but decided to remake it and shoot a video for the song which features Jenny in a spaceship in a pink/purple setting.

Frost then recorded a song called Bad Girl but stated that she no longer wanted to work in the music industry full-time by herself as it was not as fun. Frost’s song “Bad Girl” is available from her official MySpace. The song was originally written for Jennifer Lopez film, Enough, and was written by Frost’s boyfriend Dom Thrupp.

In 2007, it was confirmed that Jenny would release a Christmas album, entitled ‘In The Frost’ in the winter of 2007, however due to Jenny’s pregnancy the album was postponed until 2008, but they still felt unready to release the album due to Jenny’s commitments to her child and lack of being able to promote. The album is now slated for the 2009 release in November, 10 out of 12 tracks for the album have been recorded and this includes a track called “White Christmas” featuring fellow Atomic Kitten member Natasha Hamilton.

After Atomic Kittens brief reunion in 2008, Jenny stated she now wanted to concentrate on a presenting career. In July 2008 she presented the BBC Three programme Snog Marry Avoid?. The series has returned to BBC Three in February 2009 for a second series. After the huge success of the second series, gaining a cult following, a third series has been commissioned for a third series of again 12 episodes.
