Aniston has ruled out having plastic surgery. The former ‘Friends’ - who turns 40 next year - insists the only reason she would ever consider going under the surgeon’s knife would be for medical purposes.

She said: “I once had the degree of my deviated septum operated on. Since then, I can breathe much better and sleep nights like a baby.

Aniston moved to Hollywood and was cast in her first television role in , starring as a regular on the short-lived series Molloy and in the TV movie Camp Cucamonga.[7] She also co-starred in Ferris Bueller, a television adaptation of the hit movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.[7] The series, however, was quickly canceled.[4]

Aniston’s plans changed, however, after auditioning for Friends, a sitcom that was set to debut on NBC’s - fall line-up.[3][9] The producers of the show originally wanted Aniston to audition for the role of Monica Geller,[9] but she persuaded them that she was better suited for the role of Rachel Green.[9] She was cast in the role and played the character from until the show ended in 2004.
