Heidi Klum has moved from starring in Jordache’s new ad campaign to creating her own designs for the brand. In fact, the mom of three didn’t just conceptualize the line, she was totally hands-on–-or should that be “rear-end on”?—when it came to the designing process. “I was a fit model for all the clothes until it was the way I wanted it,” Klum told People magazine at the launch of “Heidi Klum for Jordache” at Bloomingdales in the Beverly Center mall last week. “I wanted something that was wearable, that fit great, cute tops, not too complicated. You go in your closet, you put it on, it fits, it works, it’s still cute, it’s sexy.”
Heidi Klum also incorporated some of her past designs into this project. “All the buttons have my clover on it — I’ve been designing clover jewelry for the last five years so I wanted to incorporate that,” she explained. The collection already has its first fans — Heidi’s pals! “They have everything already! Of course, I have to hook up all my friends.” The line, which includes blouses and knits, is available exclusively at Bloomingdales nationwide, retailing for $140-$298.

The couple got engaged in 2005 and married a year later. They now have two children together, as well as Klum’s daughter Leni from a previous relationship. And Klum admits the singer went to great lengths to ensure he popped the question in the most romantic way possible — in an igloo handbuilt in the Canadian Rockies mountain range.
She revealed, “He took me by helicopter. He had an igloo built there, and they’d brought up everything: a bed with sheets inside the igloo, rose petals everywhere, candles. Very, very romantic! There was food and champagne, and then the helicopter left. It was a little scary, too, because you’re so cut off from the world. No trees, nothing. It was hardcore. But I was ecstatic.”
In early 2004, while still pregnant, Heidi Klum began a relationship with musician Seal. Klum and Seal married on May 10, 2005, on a beach in Mexico. They have two children together, both boys: Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, born September 12, 2005 in Los Angeles, California and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel born November 22, 2006 in Los Angeles. According to Klum, Flavio Briatore is not involved in Leni’s life, and she has stated emphatically that “Seal is Leni’s father.”
On hearing her family referred to as a “patchwork family”, Klum said, “I’m not white, I’m a shade of brown,” and added, “we’re all different shades and we came together and we all love each other… it’s actually kind of nice to have a ‘patchwork family’.”
