If I had to select one actors resume to be incredibly jealous of, it would be Charisma Carpenter’s. Not only did she star as the bitch-tastic Cordelia Chase on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” - a show you all know how I feel about - but she also had arcs on “Charmed,” “Veronica Mars” and “Greek,” three of my other favorite series.
It’s as if she’s choosing her roles based upon my viewership. Is that true ,Queen C? Are you? If so, I’d love to see you on “Samantha Who?” I think you could really do some really great work there, like sparring with Andrea. (”It’s Ahhh-ndrea”)
In any case, today is Charisma’s 38th birthday and I wanted to wish her a big ol’ Feliz Cumpleaños! In honor of the lady who made me (mistakenly) believe that the popular kids in high school had redeemable qualities, I am bringing you five fun facts about Charisma “Cordelia” Carpenter!

Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, the youngest child of Chris, a bird sanctuary employee, and Don Carpenter, a salesman.[1] She is of Cherokee and Mexican ancestry.[citation needed] Carpenter attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas and her family moved around often while she was growing up. When she was 15, her family moved to Rosarito city, Mexico and then to San Diego where she attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. After graduation, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe.[2] Once she returned to San Diego again she worked as a video store clerk, an aerobics instructor, and in property management. In 1991, she was a San Diego Charger cheerleader, before beginning her Hollywood career.[3] In 1992 she moved to Los Angeles.
