Candice Michelle made her off-screen return at the February 6, 2008 Raw brand house show in Alaska. Candice made her on-screen return on the February 18 edition of Raw, distracting Beth Phoenix during a match with Maria. She returned to in-ring action on March 17, teaming up with Maria to defeat Jillian Hall and Victoria. During the match, Candice injured her left shoulder by tearing the scar tissue over her previously broken left clavicle. Unlike her previous injury, this time Candice broke her clavicle in four separate places, in essence, shattering it. Candice was replaced by Ashley for her scheduled match at WrestleMania XXIV. On March 23, Candice underwent successful surgery on her re-broken clavicle.
The ECW website was advertising another Matt Striker “Classroom” segment with Mick Foley as the guest for last night’s show, but the segment was nixed come.
In case you missed it on Monday, Candice Michelle was inserted in place of Torrie Wilson in “The World Is Watching” promo that airs before Raw & SmackDown broadcasts. When Trish Stratus left the company in the fall of 2006, WWE replaced Stratus with Torrie in the promo.
– Speaking of Torrie, while Candice Michelle’s profile has been removed from the SmackDown section on WWE.com, the profile itself has yet to be deleted.
