Billie’s first break in the entertainment world came as a teenager, when she was selected to appear on the Saturday morning kids’ television show Scratchy and Co. Piper later landed a role in a television commercial promoting the pop magazine Smash Hits. In 1996 she sang on a backing song Nobody’s Business. It was a dance track by h20. Soon after she was offered a record deal at the age of fifteen, and in 1998 became the youngest artist ever to debut at number one in the UK singles chart with “Because We Want To”, released under the artist name “Billie“. Her follow-up single “Girlfriend” also debuted at number one and her first album, Honey to the B (released immediately afterwards) debuted at Number 14 in the UK album charts. She released two further singles off the album, “She Wants You” and “Honey to the B”; both songs debuted at Number 3.
A bustier Billie Piper performs a racy striptease in the back seat of a limousine as she reprises her role for hit ITV2 drama The Secret Diary of A Call Girl 2.
Clearly she hasn’t let her first pregnancy hold her back, as the actress tantalises viewers by losing her top and peeling off her jeans in a promotional advert for the new show.
Billie leaves little to the imagination as she wriggles out of the clothes, and replaces them with just a trenchcoat and a pair of high heels.
Meanwhile Billie said she is suffering cravings for Greek food during her first pregnancy.
And actor husband Laurence Fox’s culinary skills are helping satisfy her hunger pangs.
‘Billie is always hungry, so Laurence is cooking non-stop,’ a source said.
‘He’s doing moussakas, Greek salads and meze.’
