The former Eastenders star told This Morning yesterday that her dad was jealous that Martine McCutcheon was devoted to baby Martine and used the threat to blackmail Jenny to have sex with him: “He knew that I had become the thing she loved the most. In a way I was a saviour but in another way he’d found her weakness.

“My first memory of my dad is him hanging me over a balcony. I remember just hearing the voices and feeling scared.

Martine McCutcheon was both physically and sexually abused for years and lived in constant fear for her life. Jenny recalls Martine’s father dangling his own daughter off a balcony 30 feet up.

However, the worst was yet to come. After leaving her violent and abusive husband, Martine McCutcheon was tracked down by the monster. A knife was held to her throat, she was knocked unconscious and raped, multiple times. Jenny finally managed to escape his grasp.

Maggie Gyllenhaal has hit out at the media for their reporting tactics after the death of fellow actor HEATH LEDGER - branding the industry “disrespectful”.

The Secretary star blasted journalists for their style of reporting after the tragic death of the Australian actor, insisting she was “shocked” by the way they tackled the sensitive issue.

Maggie Gyllenhaal starred opposite Ledger in his final full film, The Dark Knight, in which he stars as Batman’s nemesis, The Joker.

And the actress - whose brother, Jake Gyllenhaal, featured alongside Ledger in 2005’s Brokeback Mountain - reveals her co-star and friend’s untimely death has taken its toll on her.

She tells Britain’s Empire magazine, “It’s hard to talk about how it’s (Ledger’s death) affected me personally. It’s been really hard for me.”

“(And) the media has shocked me with the way that they’ve been disrespectful in some ways.”

New parent Maggie Gyllenhaal’s maternal skills came in handy on the set of her new movie ‘Farlanders’ when she had to calm screaming baby twins.

The actress plays a hippie mum in the Sam Mendes film - her first project since becoming a mother in October 2006.

And when her tiny co-stars threatened to ruin filming by screaming through take after take, she decided to try to calm them.

Maggie Gyllenhaal explains: “I get to work with a five-year-old and two 11-month-old twins, who screamed through the entire day.

Kristin Kreuk - little sexy girl pictures

Kristin Kreuk (pronounced /ˈkruːk/) was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her father, Peter Kreuk, is of Dutch descent; her mother, Deanna Che, is of Chinese descent, but was born in Indonesia; her maternal grandmother was born in Jamaica of Chinese descent. Both parents are landscape architects. She has a sister who is about five years younger. Kreuk trained in gymnastics at the national level until high school but quit in grade 11 due to scoliosis. Kimberley Davies, 40, from Davis Way, pleaded guilty to six counts of managing brothels for prostitution in Reading, Bracknell, Basingstoke and Swindon and was sentenced to a year in prison.

An accomplice, Barbara Harvey, 62, from Old Whitely Wood Lane in Reading, pleaded guilty to a count of assisting in the management of a brothel in Basingstoke and was given a four month suspended prison sentence.

The two appeared at Reading Crown Court after being arrested during a series of raids in January.

Det Supt David Poole, who oversaw the operation, said: “If you are involved in criminality we will arrest you and seize your assets.
“The message is simple - crime does not pay.”

Katherine McPhee graduated in 2002 from Notre Dame High School. At Notre Dame High School, McPhee was a swimmer and a thespian. She performed in school plays with her elder sister Adriana; both sisters were Homecoming Princess nominees in their senior year. Afterward, McPhee attended Boston Conservatory for three semesters, majoring in musical theater. McPhee left the college due to her manager’s suggestion that she try out for television pilots in Los Angeles. “Yes, I will be singing, along with the other ladies,” Katherine McPhee said of the track when we visited the set of her August 22 flick “The House Bunny,” which back then was planning to name itself after the song. “[We’ll] be bringing back an old song to life. It’s a lot of fun.”

For those unaware of the original track, “Boys” was a landmark in the ’80s new-wave movement, recorded by Akron, Ohio, band the Waitresses. Mixing playful lyrics, jazz-influenced saxophone and a snotty “nyah-nyah” chorus, the track remains a mandatory inclusion on any ’80s compilation. This time around, McPhee has updated the track alongside co-stars Emma Stone, Rumer Willis, Kat Dennings and others.
